Cover art by Herbert Paus. 2-page centerfold measures approx. 22 x 16 inches when open. HUGE PHOTO-FILLED MAGAZINES are approx. 11 x 16 inches! NOTE! If early 20th century sports are your thing, every Leslie's has at least 1 page of the notable sports happenings and even if it is not mentioned in the title, I take photos of it. Same goes for news events. These magazines are a treasure trove of old reading material, and early photography images! Each volume contains NY-based news, as well as random other states and countries. There are also amateur photography contests w/ winner images, US sports news with photos of the sports people, military events (US & World,) a who's being talked about section, arts/theatre section, and pictorials on recent events. Usually 1 satirical type piece of art. And SO MANY awesome old ads. PLEASE look at the enlarged photos, I am listing a number of them, and each has its own individual flaws. I take photos of areas that need to be noted. These are fragile, and many have small "cracks" in the binding area or little rips on the outside of the pages. In most cases these are flaws that will be hidden by a matted framing! As soon as I am done with descriptions they are being put in a protective sleeve with thick cardboard sheet and taped shut.
