Mineral: Fluorite on Matrix Locality: Frazer's Hush Mine, Rookhope, Stanhope, County Durham, England, UK Measurements: 12.1cm x 10.5cm x 8.4cm Weight: 1461g A classic purple fluorite specimen from Frazer's Hush in England. Most English fluorites are UV reactive, and pieces from this locality are no exception. In indoor lighting the crystals are pale in colour. The real beauty of this piece is seen when it is taken outdoors into sunlight. In direct sunlight the crystals almost glow purple, they are so incredibly bright and saturated in colour (the listing photos are taken in sunlight).
