The anchor is designed to allow the head to sit on top of the surface of the item being attached; The anchor requires a hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete), and the hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The anchor is a single design with no nuts and washers assembled, and has more threads for better thread engagement and higher pull-out resistance.
