Antique 14k Gold Opal and Pearl Brooch or Pendant. This late Victorian or Edwardian era brooch is in stunning original condition. It is gorgeous for being well over 110 years old. We did a light hand polish and the gold is buttery and bright. Please see our short video to see this in natural light. The brooch also has a necklace bale, and this would make a stunning pendant on a gold chain or satin ribbon. The piece is also marked with initial that look like SIL. I did not find a maker to match but obviously a jewelers mark. This Edwardian piece measures 1.75" wide by 1.5" tall. It has a secure early bullet shaped safety catch. The brooch weights 7.3 grams including the stones. About a 1/3 of carat fiery opal. Tiny Seed pearls set throughout the piece. This is a gorgeous piece and would perfect Bridal Jewelry or a stunning gift.
