Beautiful celluloid autograph album with a picture of Civil War Admiral George Dewey USN on front cover. Dewey was born in Vermont was the “Hero of Manila” and many other accolades. Victorian with the remaining velvet on the back cover. This book belonged to an Anna Burner whose station was Hamilton and her dwelling was Walnut Street. Each page is inscribed to her from fellow students and some family with dates back to the late 1800’s but the bulk between 1900-1904. Binding is loose naturally and the pages have various marks from where stamps have come loose. Each page is in a different condition but for its age it is in really good condition and binding is holding. Please see pictures for appreciation of this remarkable piece of Ohio History.
