The Servant by Charles Lazenby is a deeply reflective theosophical work that explores the path of spiritual dedication and selfless service. Written in a meditative, almost devotional style, the book presents the ideal of the aspirant who becomes a willing instrument of the divine will—what Lazenby calls "the servant." Drawing upon Theosophical teachings, it emphasizes humility, inner stillness, and alignment with higher purpose as essential qualities for those seeking to assist in the spiritual evolution of humanity. First published in 1920 and later reissued as a memorial edition in 1930 after Lazenby’s death, The Servant continues to resonate with readers interested in mystical philosophy, esoteric Christianity, and the inner life of discipleship.
