1928 Antique 14" CRAFTSMAN 5266 Corrugated Sole Plane 409 Frog 5264 Lever Cap 2”. The lever cap is labeled Craftsman and has a model 5264 stamp on it - most likely a shared part from that sister model plane. It is labeled with a 409 on the casting. Based on light research, this bench plane is from 1927-28 and most likely made for Craftsman by Fulton. The plane is 14 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide with a 2 inch cutter or iron This plane has a corrugated sole. The lever cap is labeled Craftsman and has a model 5264 stamp on it - most likely a shared part from that sister model plane The body / stock is labeled Craftsman and has a black Japanning finish which is chipped and has some surface rust at both ends and along the body - see photos The 2 inch iron is labeled Craftsman and is relatively sharp but does have some very small nicks in the cutting edge The frog has adjustment slots for mounting and an “inverted U” lateral adjustment lever. It is labeled with a 409 on the casting The toe knob is in fairly decent shape but does have nicks and some paint residue that can most likely be cleaned The tote has been modified at its lower mounting point where the wood has been cut back and washers have been placed to make up the difference - see photos Item sold as is, and can be used as is or refurbished to original NOTE: I will ship lowest cost USPS Ground Advantage unless you direct otherwise.
