Boy's Cinema was a weekly cheaply published magazine from 1920 - 1940, which featured articles on Hollywood & London productions and substantial novelizations from films - many which were not found anywhere else - Annuals first appeared in 1932 - 1941. The first few years had some color plates - all early volumes are heavy books & have 150+ pages with hundreds of photos from Hollywood & UK features. After WW2 the title resumed in 1947 - the name changed to Super Cinema in 1952 & lasted until 1955 - issues from 47-55 are thinner less substantial volumes compared to the early bunch my interest was horror & science fiction which prompted my initial purchases - examples of these are shown in the photos - also the title pages for all issues - please review these - the general condition is VG as a whole - a few have cut corners on front free end paper - one has hinges starting to break down but still holding - another has insect damage on the front cover edge - these are shown in images - most importantly 2 volumes still have the tissue DJ that was present on 1932-41 volumes and are next to impossible to find (1936 & 1939 in VG++ condition) - there are no issues during the years 1942-1946 due to WW2 - - please get in touch with any questions you may have this issue is 1937 - a decent copy with Chaplin novelization - a forward lean to the text block Photoplay Edition Please note there is glare on the DJs that have mylar covers-the shaded looking splotches are not really there. Some items are photographed in plastic bags-please look at photos carefully. I try to be fair in my pricing but desire to sell all I list ASAP, respectable offers will be considered.
