It is not part of the regular lineup and was made as a limited edition model outside the catalog, so only a very small number were produced. The neck shape is thinner than typical Les Paul types, making it suitable for technical playing. The mahogany body is an all-solid body, but it is lightweight. The neck has a deep joint structure that extends deep into the body, which improves resonance and sustain by bonding the neck and body more securely. It also boasts an overwhelming high cost performance with parts from the Japanese manufacturer GOTOH and Seymour Duncan pickups, which are popular as replacement pickups.
