Hello dear customers, Offered for sale is a rare vintage Japanese Space Age / Mid-Century Modern alarm clock by Rhythm, a respected Japanese brand often associated with Citizen. This striking clock features a retro television-shaped design, mounted on a chrome-plated metal pedestal base. The case is made of quality plastic with a polished chrome front bezel, giving it a bold futuristic look typical of the Space Age era. The clock has a brushed gunmetal dial with applied chrome hour markers accented in red, along with chrome-plated hands and a central seconds hand. The hands and markers were originally luminous; the glow is now faint due to age, which is normal for vintage clocks. It is powered by a mechanical hand-wound movement with 2 ruby jewels. The clock has been fully tested and is in working order, running for over 24 hours. It has not been recently serviced and is offered as found, from an estate sale in Vienna, Austria. This seller is amazing & so is the wall-plate I bought. It caught my eye because it was uncannily like one I own which I love but thought of as worthless. Now the seller's listing explained why I've loved it. Then I looked all over - including eBay UK, Spain, France - & found that this price of this plate made it a treasure. I have been skeptical to buy from Eastern Europe but am pleasantly surprised that everything in this transaction went smoothly. Do not hesitate to buy from this seller. Packing was great; communication was very good; the item met my expectations in every way. Shipping from overseas can be "iffy" in some cases but this transaction was superb.
Unfortunately my item did not arrive, was misdelivered sent to the wrong address by postal worker not recovered but seller was very helpful, and refunded my item. I would rather have the item.
