Having destroyed the Western and the Frankenstein legend, Brooks turned to Robin Hood and his merry band for the inspiration for "When Things Were Rotten." Dick Gautier plays noble Robin Hood with just enough fatuous ego to make him funny and likeable. Dick Van Patten is Friar Tuck, David Sabin portrays Little John while Misty Rowe, not quite yet a Madeline Kahn, shows promise as the dopey Maid Marian. Bernie Kopell is great as Alan-A-Dale, playing him a little like a standup TV comic. Photo measures 9.25 x 7inches. Photo is dated 09-02-1975.   2. Thank you, A+ seller! Item well packed & protected from bad weather/rough carrier handling. Shipped in a timely manner so it arrived within the estimated dates of delivery. Reasonable price; photo arrived exactly as pictured. Too bad Ebay still won't allow combined shipping when a buyer wants to buy more than one of a seller's Best Offer Accepted items. This hurts both Ebay sellers & buyers. Meanwhile, USPS rates continue to rise.
