1986 Topps Football - Unopened Wax Pack - (Very few of these left!!) This nearly 40 year-old pack came from a box (only recently opened by me) from a sealed case which I bought myself back in 1986. The pack has 17 cards and one glossy insert card (1000 Yard Club). The rookie card of note in this set is, of course, the all-time great wide receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice (check out the current book value of this one). Other rookie cards in the 1986 set include Bernie Kosar, William (Refrigerator) Perry, Boomer Esiason, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith and the first NFL cards of Steve Young and Reggie White. Perhaps you'll get the 3rd Topps cards of Dan Marino or John Elway, or any of the other great NFL stars who were still active in 1986 (Walter Payton, Joe Montana, Marcus Allen, Mike Singletary, Eric Dickerson, Randy White, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Randy Cross, Joe Theismann, Ronnie Lott, Steve Largent, Dan Fouts, Billy Sims, the 2nd year card of Warren Moon and many, many others). How many Hall of Famers will you get?? Here's your chance at these great wax packs before the next wave of price increases hits. There is a split on the top edge of the left side of the pack (see inside the red circle in the scan which is magnified to make it easier to see the split), but if your intent is to open this pack, this shouldn't be an issue. Nonetheless, this pack is unopened, untampered with and in its original state (just how it came out of the box), and the cards should be MINT (but keep in mind that the first and last card in any vintage Topps wax pack might or might not have a gum or a wax stain). Please see the scan so you can judge the condition for yourself (the pack in the scan is the one you will get). The pack will be sent via USPS Ground Advantage (formerly 1st Class).
