The entire A/C system must be completely flushed with an approved flush prior to installation of the compressor. 2. A NEW accumulator / receiver-drier must be installed. 3. A NEW expansion device (orifice tube / expansion valve) must be installed. 4. The correct amount and type of oil must be added to the compressor per the manufactures recommendations (usually located in the owner’s manual). 5. The system must be re-charged following industry guidelines. NOTE: We highly recommend that a certified A/C Technician be used to perform all work. You are making a significant investment and do not need to incur any additional costs. New aftermarket compressors are highly reliable with most failures occurring because the system was never flushed correctly and the compressor installed and set up properly. Prior to returning any defective compressor, a RMA# must be obtained from us. NOTE: Prior to processing any claim, documentation must be provided to us that the above procedure was followed and the parts specified were purchased and installed unless purchased from us.
