It does turn on and work. There is a connector that connects the two together. It makes a clicking sound when connected, but it does work. It may need new batteries. The only piece it comes with is the figurine as shown. Mandrake was not tested
Thankfully it arrived intact. The picture frame was in its original box and placed in a shipping bag. Not surrounded by foam m sheets or paper, anything! All I am saying is that it could have been packaged better! But it did arrive safely and is beautiful! As described at a decent price. Thank you.
