Moving my remote’s PCB to this new case worked great, but my existing OEM key mechanism was incompatible with the new case. I had to remove the spring pins in both units to move the cut portion of my key to the new key mechanism. Not difficult if you are handy. Anyway, saved me hundreds on a new fob and new cut key from the “stealership”. Highly recommended!
Easy transaction but not wasn't a direct swap with the factory original. The circuit board fit in, but the actual key and spring didn't. I can use it inside the house for the remote starter on it, but can't use it to turn on the ignition unless I take it to the dealer to cut the key, IF they'd cut a 3rd party key. Functional but not a direct replacement.
Bought the case for my key fob but they dont fit it needs to be modified seller is great fast shipping and highly recomended bit the product manufacturer needs to get it right thos is the second set i bought for the same issue i hope it gets resolved
