Description
A complete set of (21) Montana Centennial sterling silver belt buckles commemorating the hundred year anniversary of Montana's statehood. While they made 5000 bronze buckles (which trade between $50-100) they only made 250 sterling examples. This is #250 of 250. Were told its one of only two complete sets with the other located at the Charlie Russell museum in Great Falls MT. Each buckle is over 5ozt of sterling silver with a quality MT sapphire. The sapphires were supplied by Adair's Jewelry in Missoula, MT who provided a hand written appraisal of $11k in 2001! Worth note the appraisal states that if a buckle were removed and it wasn't a complete set the value drops to $1500-2k. (2001 money) So it is a big deal to have full set and we are not interested in breaking it up. We are asking $5500 which puts each buckle at only $262 a piece. Shipping would be fedex at around $50. These came over the counter at our brick and mortar store in Helena, MT. You can call us with questions. Our phone # is on card in pics. (didn't want to write here in case of spam) Awesome set don't expect it to last long. Thanks for looking.
