They are not suitable for 22mm or 10mm pipes, or very thickly insulated pipes. Simple check before you buy: If you’re unsure, measure across your pipe with a ruler – if it’s about 15mm diameter , these should fit. If your hole around the pipe is very large, there may still be a small gap visible – you can compare your hole size to the outer diameter of your existing collars or floor markings. 2. “Will the colour match my floor?” These are made from natural beech wood , so the grain and shade can vary slightly from piece to piece – this is completely normal for real wood. Beech has a light, warm tone that works well with many beech, light oak and neutral floors.
