3 Inch Front and Rear Leveling Lift Kit for 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD

Front Spacers: After removing the wheel, remove any brake line and ABS line brackets, so you have enough slack in the lines. Use a wrench to remove the upper strut mount nuts and the upper ball joint nut. Strike the side of knuckle with a hammer to get the ball joint to separate. Using a wrench, remove the steering linkage nut. Remove the sway bar nut and bushing. Remove the two lower strut mount bolts and remove the strut from the vehicle. 3" Front & 3" Rear Leveling Lift Kit Fits Dodge Ram 1500 2WD 2002-2006 2007 2008 Front Spacers: After removing the wheel, remove any brake line and ABS line brackets, so you have enough slack in the lines. Install the supplied bolts into the leveling kit spacer. These will act as the new studs when reinstalled. Bolt the spacer to the top of the strut using the supplied nuts. Rotate the strut 180 degrees and install it back into the truck. Re-insert the lower strut bolts. The lower mount bushing will rotate to correct the angle. Raise the lower control arm to raise the spindle while lowering the upper control arm to re-install the upper ball joint and Re-install the steering linkage. Complete the installation on the other side of the truck before reinstalling the sway bar nut and bushings. Rear Blocks: Support the rear axle with a jack and jack stands. Remove the brake and parking brake cables so there is slack in the lines. Remove the lower rear shock mount nut and bolt. Remove the factory rear U-bolts and discard them. Lower the axle to remove the factory block, or you can put new blocks on the factory block, get a new lift. Install the new rear block making sure the smaller side of the spacer is facing the front of the truck. Install the new supplied U-bolts and torque to factory spec. Complete the installation on the other side of the truck before reinstalling any brake or ABS lines. After 100 miles recheck torque to factory spec.
