Economy Aroma Beads Aroma Beads are small clear plastic poly beads that absorb up to 30% of their weight in fragrance oil. This fragrance can last up to six months, depending on the fragrance oil used, making it an easy alternative to candles. They can be placed in a glass vase, potpourri dish or other decorative container. These beads call also be cooked in a cookie cutter to make car air fresheners! Recommended only for northern climates when making auto air fresheners and southern temps can melt the product. Do NOT place on dash boards. Made to hang only! Mix different colors for a nice design features! If using for scented beads, common formulas recommend 1 fl oz of beads to 1 Cup of fragrance oils, depending on the fragrance chosen. It is best to start small on the fragrance and add it gradually or it can become overbearing. To mix the fragrance and beads, place the oil and dye in a small glass container and mix thoroughly. Pour the oil/dye into the beads in a glass jar with metal lid and shake well. Shake periodically about every 2-4 hrs until oil is absorbed and beads appear dry. It may take anywhere from 24 hrs to 7 days for the oil to be completely absorbed. This is highly dependent on the candle oil that is used. Please use only oil based candle or essential fragrances.
