Front Spacers: 1: To begin install, block the rear tires of the vehicle so that the vehicle is stable and can’t roll backwards. Safely lift the front of the vehicle and support the frame with jack stands. Place jack stands on both sides of the vehicle and remove both front tires. 2:Using a wrench, unbolt the nut for the swaybar end-link. The upper ball joint and tie rod will separate from the knuckle. 9:Remove the tie rod and upper ball joint from the knuckle. 10:Loosen the lower ball joint nut and strike it with a hammer to get it to separate. 11:Remove the knuckle from the vehicle. 12:Slowely remove the floor jack for the lower control arm and remove the coil spring from the vehicle. 13:Leave the coil spring isolator in place and install the new spacer on top of the coil spring. 14:The raised center of the spacer will locate it inside of the spring. 15:Insert the coil spring back into the vehicle. Use a jack under the lower control arm to compress the spring. 16:Reattach the knuckle and upper ball joint. 17:Reattach the tie rod and sway bar. 18:Finish installing the truck in reverse of the order it came apart. 19:Torque all bolts to factory spec and recheck them after 25 miles. Rear Installation 1. Remove the lower shock mounting hardware from both sides of the truck saving it for reinstallation later on; 2. Remove the upper shackle mounting bolt work the upper shackle legs away from the frame bushing, a small pry bar can help with this if it's snug; 3. Remove the lower shackle mounting goal; 4. Remove the OE shackle on the new lift shackles, decide what the longer legs goes up towards the frame, install a washer on the included new shackle bolt pass it through the shackle, and frame bushing capping it off with another washer and an included nylock nut, don't tighten it just yet now, align the leaf spring bushing with the lower end of the shackle to install another new shackle bolt with washer; if you have a hard time aliging the holes, you can adjust the floor jack supporting the axle until everything lines up everything is close, but still snug rubber mallet or a dead blow hammer can lend some help cap this off with another washer and nylock nut as well. 5. You can secure the shackle hardware these get fastened to 118 pound-feet of torque repeat the same shackle installation process on the other side of the truck.
