Description
Filaments fiberglass are made from little corrugated splinters cut in different sizes within a range. The average of lenght in this range gives it the name to the presentation of the fiber. Unlike cuted thread (cuted filament) of regular lenght and matrix where is added since it leaves a distribution of spaces more wide so the rest of the agregates, adhesives, resins cements and adhitives settle better- These filaments are ideal to be used as moldable compounds of thermo fixed resins like polyester resin, epoic and fenolic. I was impressed on the big box it came in. The gorillas could not destroy my items so well packaged inside the big box. I got a great deal on this product and was in the condition as promised. I did not use it on plastic as listed I used it on a lift chair where the particle board had worn away and would not hold the wood nut in place so the bolt could hold the frame to the wooden side of the chair. in case you are wondering it did the job and now an elderly man is enjoying his chair again.
Just received product, applied first coat. hoping it does the job. product is quite pricy.
