If you connect new Mesh Screen to the Black Body first and then connect Clear Container to Black Body, there will be a gap at the connection of Clear Container and Black Body. This is a nice filter. I am pumping water from a fresh water harbor to irrigate my lawn. This unit keeps the sprinkler unit from getting plugged with moss and impurities. Great filters,easy install, f ast shipping at a good price.
