It is possible that your existing lug nut studs can be longer than the adapter itself, you may need to alter your existing studs if the adapters do not sit flush with the wheels. If the studs are longer than the adapter, and the wheels do not have a hollow spot in them, you may need to grind, or cut your existing lugs if you choose not to purchase shorter studs. Otherwise, the adapter bolt can't work as normal and will greatly shorten the bolt's working life and bring danger to you. 4. Install the nuts by hand ONLY and tighten them in a crisscross pattern. Do not use impact wrench . Recommended to use threadlocker. 6. Please check all lug nuts and bolts of the adapters after the first 50 -100 miles. They may get loose after long time running.
