Good idea.. Great fir flat grinding.. l used it to extend reach of a cutting disc.. there is a slight wobble.. so the disc disintegrated prematurely. Absolutely use your side mounted handle. There is a lot of vibration created.. a face shield would be best.. l used safety glasses- and still ended up with sparks in my face.. There is something to be said for grinder shields..
