Description
840P, is a single-component, moisture-curing, self-expanding, ready-to-use polyurethane foam with propellants which are completely harmless to the ozone layer. It has a fire resistance of up to 235 minutes, recommended for sealing applications where fire resistance is required. The application surface must be free from dust and grease. During the application, the temperature of the can and the room temperature should be between +41 °C and +86 °F. To get the best result, the temperature of the can and the room temperature should be between +68°F and +77 °F. Shake the can well before screwing the adapter on to applicator gun. The output of the foam can be regulated with the trigger and controlled with the adjustment screw on the back side of the gun. Fill holes and cavities accordingly as the foam will expand around 30% depending on the humidity. Moistening the surfaces before and after the application ensures faster curing and increases the bonding strength. Fresh foam can be removed using 800C Foam Cleaner.
