Abatron LiquidWood 2 Gallon Kit 2 Part Structural Epoxy Wood Hardener and Consolidant Resin. LiquidWood is a solvent-free, liquid epoxy resin for consolidation and structural reinforcement of rotted or deteriorated wood. LiquidWood will restore and permanently seal existing wood and protect it from further deterioration when absorbed into the raw wood. It is both insect and water-proof. It is the perfect primer and consolidant to be used prior to applying WoodEpox. Use on windows, doors, columns, decks, clapboards, millwork, furniture and more. Ideal for interior and exterior repairs. Continually specified for use on historic homes and buildings. Contains 1 gallon of resin (Part A) and 1 gallon of hardener (Part B). The packaging was very good. However, my contractors have not had a chance to use it yet, so we cannot evaluate the performance. This product was highly recommended by another contractor for filling the grain on the sills of an historic house (circa 1760). There is no rot, but before we fill it with paint it was recommended to use this product to fill the weathered grain after scraping, sanding, and vacuuming the surface. Upon hardening of the product it will be painted over.
