Albert Coles 1850s Medallion coin silver serving spoon with a scalloped, gold-washed bowl and twist handle. Clear marks on the back of handle. While many coin silver spoons of the era are lightweight, this one is solid, weighing just a hair under 2 troy ounces. Condition: Medallion is beautifully crisp and silver is in excellent condition. The gold wash is a bit worn on the back where the spoon rests on a surface. Elaborate script monogram on back. Dimensions: 8 1/2"L. Weight is 62 grams/1.99 troy ounces.
