We build all of our air boxes with 5052 series aluminum for high strength, good looks, and superior corrosion resistance. This air box is designed to use a 4" flange I.D. filter. The reason we chose this filter is because it has an opening 6% larger than the stock filter, or any other filter available for the stock air box. As we all know, more air equals more horsepower. Standard features on this air box include a removable lid, provisions to allow the use of your stock drain boot, and the stock crank case vent tube. There is not a better air box available for any price. Will fit all models from 2003-2008 and 2012 +. The item arrived quickly & was definitely what I needed, however it was damaged. The support bracket was broken. The box was damaged in three different locations. Bubblewrap may help future deliveries as I observed the mailman drop 4 different boxes on his floorboard for other deliveries. I requested a return & the seller quickly refunded the purchase price. Highly recommend this seller!!!
The item was sent very fast after the payment, few hours. Very resistant box, and nice shock absorbers inside. Almost 2,000 miles in transit and not even a minor damage. Recommend!
