The unit has been tested with a 9-volt battery and powers on, I cycled through the buttons and they appear to function, but I haven't the equipment to properly test all functions. The unit includes wires with probes, and an instruction manual. The unit has small blemishes from handling, the instruction manual cover has a few stains. The 9-volt device battery box is very clean (battery is not included). The unit comes in an ABS-style plastic case, which shows shelf wear, but the latches close firmly.
