Antique Art Nouveau Brass Letter Opener – Floral Design – c.1900–1915 Offered is a beautiful antique letter opener / paper knife dating to the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900–1915. This piece is made of cast brass or bronze and features an elegant raised floral motif with flowing organic lines typical of the Art Nouveau style. The metal has developed a genuine aged patina over more than a century. It has not been cleaned or polished, preserving its original antique surface. The design, proportions, and wear are consistent with European decorative desk accessories from the turn of the 20th century. There are no maker’s marks visible. During this period, many fine decorative letter openers were produced by European art foundries and workshops without signatures. 🔹 Details: • Approx. 7.5 inches long • Solid cast brass / bronze construction • Raised floral Art Nouveau design • Original antique patina • Slight bend to the blade (see photos) • No maker’s marks found • Likely European origin 🔹 Condition: Good antique condition. Item arrived today and was well and securely packaged. Coin holder was as described by the seller, and fits in the car it was intended for with no problems- a handy accessory to have. Seller even included .40 cents starter change in the coin holder- very nice. Great shipping value. A+, positive feedback for the seller.
Shipping was fast it was packaged very well...it was listed for parts because it wasn't tested but I tested it and it worked perfectly ...and I got a couple hundred dollar amp for $40 ...I would advise people to definitely buy from this seller..the amp was in great condition exactly what I hoped for
