FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE.... Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a retired antiques dealer. Antique corkscrew, self puller, T shaped. A steel shaft is fitted with a turned hard wood handle. The handle has a dusting brush. That feature is usually seen only on old style antique openers. Found in Portugal, the opener is in used condition. Dating from the early 1900s, could possibly be older, it measure 5 1/2 inches in length with the handle at 4 1/2 inches wide including the natural bristle brush. Well used but still mechanically sound, the brush is a bit worn as well as the opposite turned end of the handle. I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size.
