Antique Georgian Solid Sterling Silver Sugar Nips c 1763 in rather nice condition. A fine early pair of English Antique silver sugar nips by hallmarked in London by silversmith Simeon Coley (1762-1763). Beautiful quality , nice design with silver ring handles , ornate scrolled arms and attractive cast shell bowls , Decorated with an historic engraved set of "marriage" initials , Great pair. Stamped on both ring handles with early Lion passant / Sterling silver hallmarks with the silversmith's initials Simeon Coley. Good overall condition considering they are approx 260 years old ! , no splits , or polish holes. Still have a secure scissor action. Weight : Approx 29 g.
