Absolutely breathtaking set!! The Nippon marking is authentic which dates this piece between 1887 until 1920 as the United States stopped allowing Japan to use Nippon on their China. (Bc Nippon is Japanese for Japan and the US said all exports must be marked in English) But back to these gorgeous pieces! The set consists of a cream pitcher, a double handled sugar bowl with lid & a condensed milk lidded jar. All of them are hand painted in a beautiful raised Moriage gilted gold pattern consisting of swirls, beads and pink roses. The cream pitcher and sugar bowl are in beautiful condition with only minor gilt trim loss. The milk jar no longer has its knob handle on the top of the lid. This is shown in the photos. Bummer on that but I’m still including because of how rare and marvelous these all are together.
