Antique Sliding Crochet Hooks English * Circa 1870s the solid brass crochet hook is embossed with trailing vine patterns. The flower shaped button slides out the steel crochet hook exposing a cut out cross pattern at the top. The side is stamped "W.D.s" and "Patent". This is the mark of W. Woodfield & Sons of Reddich. It is 3 1/4" closed and 4 3/4" open…it works fine but could lid with a polish and a fettle to remove rust …I don’t Mean the brass.

The postage was reasonable and it was packaged well. The item was not quite as described. I've no idea how John Lennon relates to King C Gillette but the picture of the item showed Mr. Gillette wearing John Lennon glasses on the label of the razor blades. This wasn't on the packet of blades that arrived but I got the vintage razor blades I wanted.
