A pensive cherub is hand-painted on a porcelain plaque. The plaque is mounted on a gold-filled frame that weaves around itself. The back carries a sturdy hinged pin that meets an old C clasp. There's also a very small loop at the top. This is large: 2” x 2 1/2” overall. It is old, dating to the mid-19 th century. It is in very fine, undamaged condition.
