Description
Antique Victorian glass pin brooch. This is a wonderful intricate piece of glass art, made in the region of Bohemia, now known as Czechoslovakia. With a Dianthus flower reverse hand painted onto crystal clear glass. Fine silver detailing is then added to give 3 dimensional depth. Finished with reverse black japanning to seal and protect the colors. A metal plate and pin is then soldered to the glass. In very good condition for the era with some slight discoloration to the reverse japanning. A wonderful collectable original glass brooch.
