Description

Antique Vintage McCoy HTF Matte Green Art Pottery Vase Berries Leaves 1910-1930 Description: Offered here is a beautiful ceramic clay flared vase made by the McCoy Pottery Company. This vase has the hard-to-find signature arts and crafts movement-inspired hard to find green matte glaze with a slight beige tint. There is a raised design of leaves and berries / flowers – a common theme for this shape. Two sides have large leaves and berries / flowers, while the alternate sides have long leaves dripping over the sides. Brush-McCoy pieces often bear the “McCoy“ incised mark, but unlike most art pottery makers, a large selection of Brush-McCoy pottery does not feature a mark at all. This piece has no mark, but the form is unmistakably McCoy. This vase was in production from approximately 1910 to 1930. This would make a perfect addition to any McCoy or art pottery collection. Approximate Measurements: 6 inches tall; 4-1/4 inches by 3-1/2 inches at the top opening; 2-3/4 inches in diameter at base. Condition Report: Excellent antique/vintage condition, with no apparent crazing, chips or cracks. There are a few manufacturing flaws about the body – glazed onto the form. The bottom edge is rough, which is quite common. At the inside base there is some residue – perhaps this was used as a flower vase and this is water oxidization. It does not harm the integrity of the vase. Overall, this is a lovely example of a rarer McCoy floral pattern. The photos, scans and/or video are crucial elements of the description and are to be considered just as important as the description. I ask that you study them closely. The photos shown are of the actual item. Review them carefully, as you may notice a flaw I missed. I cannot stress this enough: If you have any questions regarding the condition of an item, you need additional photos, exacting measurements, or anything else, PLEASE message me! I will be happy to accommodate you. One Moon Mercantile takes great care with packing and posting your new piece of art pottery. We wrap and protect each piece as carefully as you would expect from a business that has been on eBay since 1998 – 27 years – with a 100% customer rating. Be aware that most of the items I offer are antique or vintage – they may have been pre-owned and used. As a result, they could have flaws commensurate with age and use, and are sold as-is. Unless stated in the description or condition report, these may not be immediately noticeable. If you expect a new, pristine-condition item ― please think carefully before you bid. I must stress this as some bidders have expected immaculate items with no signs of previous use. If you are not accustomed to antique or vintage items, please ask questions before bidding. “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.
