Antique Vintage Wooden Recorder 18" Baroque Fingering Unmarked Possible Alto F

Used with wear to the mouthpiece. Metal support rings at joints, one is not glue in place the other is. Blind stamped circle on inside of mouthpiece block. Not sure of type or Key. Vintage wooden recorder with Baroque fingering, measuring approximately 18 inches in overall length. Based on size and proportions, this instrument may be a Alto recorder in F, however type and key are unconfirmed and are therefore listed as unknown. The recorder is unmarked externally. There is a blind-stamped circular mark inside the block (windway plug), visible only internally, possibly a workshop or maker’s mark. The instrument features traditional waxed thread joints, consistent with quality wooden recorders and typical of European instruments from the early–mid 20th century early-music revival period. Constructed of solid wood (exact species unknown). Condition shows honest age-related wear, including noticeable wear to the mouthpiece / beak area, consistent with long-term use. No visible cracks observed, but the recorder has not been play-tested and is sold as found.
