Links with Alexa. The reactive area is owner determined. The loudness is adjustable. The owner's voice is able to be tone masked. aosu specified a 110 volt to 18 volt transformer for hard wiring. While this unit is designed to recharge automatically when hard wired this one doesn't reliably. It does operate well when the unit is USB connected for recharge. Aosu states one charge will last 4 to 6 months depending upon traffic. The camera comes with a 15 degree wall mount and a plug in base unit. I have several aosu security cameras as well as the Video Doorbell and I have found them to be reliable and low-no maintenance
