This Arita Ware tea set is a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship and the beauty of high quality porcelain produced in the former Hizen Province. This beautiful set comes in its original box ( it was stored, but never used ). Through part of my research and the use of google translate, I was able to determine that KYO had signed each of the pieces. BACKSTORY: I came across this set at a yard sale in North Dakota….it was explained to me by the woman there, that this set was gifted to her mother as a thank you for her years of management of a downtown porcelain shop.
