Vintage Swiss made BANNER hinged lug watch. 10/0s movement set in a large lug (19.5mm), 24mm case featuring a YELLOW METAL HINGED lug on a (presumed) nickel plate case ( case has no markings, and wear evidence on case back shows plate layer on edges ). Lugs are pivot hinged to case with two yellow metal capped hinges on each end. (The caps are untested for composition with no case markings to identify positively ). Case back does not close tightly. The movement has 6 jewels and 2 adjustments. Balance wheel is extremely slow and gummy but will turn when coaxed manually and appears good. Crown was found, missing from case, and looks like had threads stripped at one time, and will be included, not installed. Not able to grab stem to wind or set due to missing crown. Crystal is clear with a few light scratches. Skeleton hands are good with full infill between blue steel filigree, and a slight bend at the tip of the minute towards the dial. Comes with its original leather band faintly stamped WILLOW, measuring 19mm at lug ,tapering to 15mm at buckle. Band stitching is tight. There is only a small area near a lug that has separated. Will fit up to a 7 3/4” wrist. Since this has not been tested or serviced it will be sold AS IS knowing that the buyer will have to have it cleaned and serviced by a professional in order for it to become a reliable timepiece.
