Excellent natural properties that help reduce odor and hardness from water, and filter for better tasting drinking water. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours. Slim binchotan charcoals are rare, and these have been specifically selected to fit through the mouth of personal water bottles. Use 1 stick for a personal water bottle, or use 2 sticks for a carafe. 1 stick can filter up to 750 ml (25.4 oz) of water. Reactivate every weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. 6 sticks of binchotan included per package. Average size of each stick is approximately 0.5" in diameter and 4" in length. Individual size may vary as this is a natural product.
