Author Biography Bloodlines is my first work that I have completed, the first that I have tried to get published, and the first that I am going to see all the way to print. I have had Bloodlines in one form or another for close to six years. It wasn't until I found myself on unemployment that I unfortunately had the time to really dedicate to the story and bring it to life. While I was job hunting, having phone interviews and doing face-to-face interviews, writing gave me a sense of accomplishment and helped ease my mind. As long as I had been working on the manuscript I was able to put all the pieces together faster than I thought possible. Once I started writing I found other ideas coming to mind but I stayed focused on one at a time and Bloodlines was born. I have always loved writing and have used it to express my feelings and to escape from real life at times. With the urging of my wife and the events of the last couple of years, I have really given it a lot more effort and my time and it has really seemed to work out well. I have four or five other ideas for novels in various states from just a couple sentences to a couple thousand words. I found that once one of the many ideas grabs me that is the one that I really start going after. Currently, I have one sitting at about thirty-thousand words and then I will start working on a follow-up to Bloodlines, which currently has a working title of Lost and Found.
