Item Description A typed and signed letter from Bono to Tony Bennett after the MusiCares event, referring to Bennett’s work with the Civil Rights movement. It is dated 26 th February 2003 and printed on Temple Hill Ireland letterhead. Bono has signed his name at the end of the letter in blue pen. The letter measures 21cm x 28cm (8.2 inches x 11 inches). It has been previously folded leaving horizontal crease lines. There are several small creases across the surface. The condition is very good. Provenance: previously sold by Julien’s Auctions as Lot 298 in the Tony Bennet A Life Well Lived Sale on 18 th April 2024. The lot card is included. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
