Description Technical Specifications: Brand: Brillhart Model: "Tonalin Streamline" Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Serial Number: 8191 Period: Early 1940s (Great Neck, New York, circa 1942-43) Condition: Original near mint, extremely beautiful condition with a slight nick on the tip rail (does not affect playability). Shank: Seam from the manufacturing process (not a crack, common to all Brillharts from the Great Neck period). Accessories: Includes ligature (clarinet size) and original cap. Significance: Known to have been used by Charlie Parker during his revolutionary early career. Note: The Streamline model is a higher-quality version compared to regular Evolin and Tonalin models, making it one of Brillhart's most expensive mouthpieces from the period.
