Description

This item is an art deco vintage Miss America ladies watch. It was crafted in 1950 by Swiss-American Bulova watchmakers. It features a 10k Rolled Gold Plated case, bezel and manual dial. The case and bezel both feature intricate artistic designs and are in excellent condition with minimal visible scratches. The watch face has gold colored hands and numbers and is in excellent condition. The case backing is stainless steel and has some visible scratches but otherwise in great condition. The dial has BULOVA engraved in it and is in great condition. The watch band is made of finely braided leather adorned with stainless steel clasps. The leather is fraying slightly at the connective parts and the clasps have a small amount of green tarnish. The mechanisms are untested so it is undetermined if it works and will be sold AS-IS. This item comes in it's original Bulova display box which is in good overall condition. The interior of the box features a deep red velvet holder that has a small amount of fraying and ware but is otherwise in great condition. The interior of the lid has a red satin lining and gold colored lettering. The satin is in pristine condition and the lettering has very minimal ware. The exterior of the box's gold colored lid features intricate art deco designs and is in excellent condition. The box's plastic base has yellowed over time and is broken in one spot (pictured).
