These all black, high-gloss ceramic figural statues are examples of mid-century modern art. They represent a man and a woman, each with their arm raised behind their heads holding a draped cloth. These figures are sculpted in the round so that the draped cloth covers their nudity and can be seen. The use of lines to create ribbon or curtain patterns is indicative of the Art Deco style. These figures are substantial, each measuring 16." in height. The male figure measures 8"Lx5"Wx16.5"H, and the female figure measures 7"Lx6"Wx16"H. This pair would be ideal display pieces in a home or office setting.
Lamps came quickly and were carefully packed, but they were missing the harps due to an error at the shipper. The seller apologized, found the missing parts, and had them shipped right away. Overall an extremely positive experience. This seller cares about making things right. Highly recommended.
Very pretty lamp! It was packaged well but was socket was damaged in shipping due to extremely rough handling by carrier. Seller was helpful about getting issued resolved. We were able to replace the socket and the lamp is beautiful in our space! Great communication. Highly recommend.
