In 1892, two teenage sisters, Clara and Bertha Hatten, started making decorations to sell at the local county fair. Their father, a carpenter, built a small wooden house for them to use as a workshop. The Hatten sisters named their business “House of Hatten” and began creating a variety of ornaments and other holiday decorations. The Hatten sisters used a variety of materials to create their decorations, including wood, fabric, paper, and glass. They often used whatever materials they had on hand, which made their decorations unique and one-of-a-kind. As the sisters’ business grew, they began to purchase more supplies and hire additional workers. Today, House of Hatten is a well-known brand that produces a wide range of holiday decorations. The company’s products are made from high-quality materials and are designed to last for many years. Previously owned. In very good vintage condition. No damage.
