Mounts to door with included screws. 2-3/4” backset. Backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the large 2-1/8” hole in the door. Use on classroom doors requiring a key to gain entry. Outside lever can be locked by key from outside. Inside lever is always unlocked. Will fit doors having a standard 2-1/8” cross bore holes and standard latch mounting holes. Will fit door thicknesses from 1-3/8” to 2”. Non- handed. Lever with Clutch System. UL approved latch. 2-3/8” backset latch can be purchased separately. ANSI strike 4-7/8” x 1-1/4” lip to center. Fixed through bolts. Push button lock, emergency release.
