Description
This is a plant of dockrilla (dendrobium) linguiformis .commonly known as the tongue orchid, as the leaves look like tongues. They are thick. It is a species from Australia that is rarely seen in America. I imported it from Australia in 2009. The Australian growers don't come here anymore to sell, so it is hard to find now. It grows on trees and rock faces in nature. it is a cool to hot grower that enjoys frequent water in Summer. less in Winter.. Easy to grow. However, I have not bloomed this yet. You can find pictures on line. The flowers are fragrant. Perhaps I don't water enough? I just moved my larger plant in stronger light. Anyway this just tested NEGATIVE for ORSV and ORSV. It is established on the mount and could probably be attached to a larger mount.. The plant pictures are what you are bidding on. It is the ONLY one I have to sell.
